Background: 

Swiss Post has issued the “Star Ribbon” stamp to meet the needs of commercial mailers. The stamp motif shows a digital illustration of a star consisting of red, white and blue ribbons. The white area in the middle of the band forms a second, smaller star. The tri-colored ribbons are folded into a patriotic symbol that expresses the unity of the American people. The stamps are sold in rolls of 10,000 and in sheets of 20. Greg Breeding serves as art director. Aaron Draplin designed the stamps and created the illustrations.
