Cliff Rucker, Senior Vice President of the U.S. Postal Service, said they are proud to present a series of definitive stamps titled “Have a Ball!” with colorful motifs that evoke the connection between sports and culture. Rucker was joined at the dedication ceremony by Diana Murphy, president of the United States Golf Association, who noted that golf is one of America's favorite pastimes and that this innovative stamp collection celebrates the sport. Stamp designers worked with stamp artists to create these circular definitive stamps, with each field of 16 containing two stamps of each design. The value of these stamps is always equal to the price of one ounce of the actual First-Class Mail item.
